5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard JA Morant connected on seven of 17 shooting en route to 20 points, but his five points in the last 50 seconds of Friday's contest were not enough in the close loss to the Kings. Morant finished the night with a double-double, as he added 11 assists with three rebounds and a single make from three. Morant and the Grizzlies have now lost four straight games and are barely clenching onto the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference. Morant will do all he can to keep his team's head above the water, which is an excellent sign for his owners down the stretch.--Gianni Costantiello
