5 years agoAtlanta Hawks small/power forward Jabari Parker has been ruled out for Monday’s game versus the Denver Nuggets due to an illness. Parker’s absence marks his second in as many contests and fifth in his last six. His absence should allow John Collins to see a slightly increased workload as the starter, while a collaboration of bench pieces also pick up the slack. After scoring in single digits in just three of his first 29 games, Parker has finished with fewer than 10 points in each of his last three outings. His next chance at returning to action comes Wednesday against Houston, although he holds little significant fantasy value at this point.--Jesse Borek
