3 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals will be transferring starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list, according to Cardinals beat writer Katie Woo. The move is being made to make room on the 40-man roster for infield prospect Nolan Gorman, who is being called up for his big league debut on Friday. Woo emphasized that Flaherty's move to the 60-day injured list doesn't impact his timeline. He remains on the same schedule he has been on. Flaherty has been throwing bullpen sessions, but he still needs to progress to simulated games and then a rehab assignment. We're likely looking at a mid-June debut for him with the Cardinals at the earliest.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
