2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) is officially scheduled to make his first rehab outing of 2022 at Single-A St. Lucie on Sunday. This marks a huge milestone in the recovery process for deGrom, who has been out all year due to a stress reaction in his right scapula. According to Mets manager Buck Showalter, the plan is for deGrom to pitch two innings on Sunday. deGrom will of course need several rehab appearances before being activated from the injured list for his 2022 MLB debut. Fantasy managers will have to remain patient, but deGrom at least appears to be trending in the right direction at this point.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
