2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) began his rehab assignment at Single-A on Sunday and was fantastic, allowing no hits across 1 2/3 innings while striking out five. He is expected to pitch every five days throughout his rehab assignment and he'll make his next start on Friday at Single-A once again. Mets beat writer Anthony DiComo reports that deGrom remains on track to return before the end of July. DiComo also stated that if he were "a betting man," he would project for deGrom to make his season debut with the Mets at some point during the team's home stand between July 22 and July 27.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
