6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder JaCoby Jones hit his sixth homer of the year off of Preston Guilmet in the ninth inning, adding two runs on to the end of a 9-1 win. He also notched a double in a 2-for-3 day, but his overall line for the season shows he still falls short of being fantasy relevant in all but the deepest of leagues. He's hitting .223/.274/.383 with six home runs, 21 RBI, and 30 runs scored. Jones also sits at seven steals, but unless he improves upon his average and boosts his counting category stats, he can but largely ignored in most leagues.
