6 years agoUtah Jazz forward Jae Crowder got the start with Derrick Favors (back) getting the night off, and he scored 17 points in the overtime loss to the Clippers. Crowder connected on 5-for-8 shooting and added three boards with two assists while swatting two shots in this one. Crowder has had a rocky season, as he struggled with consistency, and he will be relied on heavily in the series versus the Rockets with his length and ruggedness. His totals against the Rockets are on par with his season averages, but he did shoot a dismal 28.9 percent from the floor in the four games.--Gianni Costantiello
