Jae Crowder To Be Sidelined For Saturday’s Contest
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small/power forward Jae Crowder has been ruled out for Saturday’s game versus the Washington Wizards due to left ankle soreness. Head coach Taylor Jenkins announced that Kyle Anderson will enter the starting five for the first time this season, as he figures to become an attractive DFS commodity. Crowder’s absence marks his first of the season, and with one of their better defenders on the bench, Memphis will be stretched defensively versus a high-scoring Wizards bunch. Crowder’s next chance to return to the floor comes Monday against Miami.
