4 years agoDetroit Pistons center Jahlil Okafor (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game versus Denver due to a knee ailment. Consistent minutes have been hard to come by for Okafor, who hasn't topped the eight-point, seven-rebound outing that he put together back on Opening Night. Having delivered an unappealing 117 dRTG through his first 12 games, it's tough to see a path to elevated playing time for the former No. 3 overall pick, whose minutes will likely be absorbed by Isaiah Stewart and Mason Plumlee on Monday. Okafor's next chance to return comes Tuesday against the Jazz, but he can remain firmly entrenched on the waiver wire for the foreseeable future.--Jesse Borek
