JaKarr Sampson Goes For Career-High 29 Points
6 years agoChicago Bulls small forward Jakarr Sampson set a new career high during Saturday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, pouring in 29 points on 11-for-17 shooting over his 35 minutes. Sampson has made just three appearances with Chicago and averaged 23 points per game coming off the bench. With the majority of their regulars out of the mix, Sampson has taken on an increased offensive role and enters the must-own category for the final two games of the season, with Chicago having little incentive to bring back the likes of Zach LaVine and Otto Porter, which should pave the way for Sampson to have as many shots as he desires with his eye towards capturing a job for next season.
