6 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi continued his run of brilliance on Friday, allowing just one hit to the Detroit Tigers over seven scoreless innings in the Twins 6-0 win. Last week's AL Player of the Week struck out five batters and issued no walks as he improved his record to 5-2 on the season. He has a sparkling 2.32 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and .169 BAA through 42 and 2/3 innings. Odorizzi is also at 9.6 K/9 and has allowed just two homers, but a 3.8 BB/9 and a career 3.91 ERA are reasons to believe his current production level won't continue for long. He is in great form and has put up some solid numbers, but selling high on Odorizzi certainly isn't out of the question.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
