3 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (ankle) tossed a bullpen session at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday. This is surprising and encouraging news as Odorizzi is just eight days removed from suffering what looked to be a devastating leg injury. There was speculation that he could have ruptured his Achilles. Instead, he was diagnosed with some strained and sprained ligaments. His timeline remains unclear, but Tuesday's bullpen session suggests that we may be looking at a return in terms of weeks rather than months.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
