Jakob Poeltl Continues Absence For Thursday’s Game
3 years agoSan Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against Minnesota as he continues to make his way back from a stint in the league's health and safety protocols. Poeltl's absence will be his eighth in a row, paving the way for Drew Eubanks to earn another start and Thaddeus Young to receive a sizable minutes allotment off the bench. The fact that Poeltl has cleared all relevant protocols and is merely working his way back into game shape bodes well for his return, which doesn't appear far off. Having shot 64.8 percent overall while on pace for career-highs with 13.9 points and 9.7 boards per contest, the 26-year-old is a must-start fantasy asset once cleared.
