6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson was close to shocking the world with a triple-double on Saturday, finishing a 106-100 loss to Philly with 13 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. He shot 4-for-14 from the field and 4-for-4 from the line in 26 minutes off the bench. Brunson ended up playing a lot because Dallas' starting unit had a really tough night. Ryan Broekhoff also took advantage of the extra minutes, scoring 15 points in 22 minutes on 6-for-8 shooting. Brunson recently had a good run in the team with Dennis Smith Jr. out, but he's now back to the bench and actually hasn't even featured at all in some games. The guy clearly has some talent, though, so it's worth to keep an eye on him.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
