2 years agoFree-agent guard Jalen Brunson reportedly wants to receive a larger contract than the one Fred VanVleet signed back in 2020. As a result, any team interested in acquiring Brunson over the summer should be prepared to pay at least $85 million over the next four seasons. Unquestionably, the 25-year-old will receive more than enough offers, primarily after averaging a career-high 16.3 points in 2021-22. Rick Brunson, his father, was recently hired by the Knicks as an assistant, so it's likely New York remains in the running.
