6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson took full advantage of both the absence of Dennis Smith Jr. and the blowout nature of Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Logging 25 minutes of court time, Brunson scored 11 points and set a new career high with seven assists without recording a turnover. This was a nice showing for owners in dynasty formats, but Brunson averaged just 5.3 minutes per game over the last four contests he even appeared in. Keep an eye on Smith Jr.’s wrist injury, as if that keeps him out Saturday against Houston, Brunson could be the play in DFS.--Jesse Borek
