Jalen Brunson Scores A Season-High 21 Points
5 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson posted 21 points on eight of 14 shooting to go with nine assists and four rebounds in a heartbreaking loss to Toronto on Sunday. The 21 points mark a season high for Brunson, who has taken advantage of the extra opportunities afforded by the absence of Luka Doncic. This outing marked his fifth straight game in double figures, and Brunson has also averaged 9.2 assists per game over that stretch. Doncic will eventually make his return and likely push Brunson back onto the second unit. Until then, Brunson will continue to thrive, and those who were quick enough to pick him up in their leagues will continue to reap the sparkling benefits.
