2 years agoUpcoming free-agent guard Jalen Brunson is expected to draw plenty of interest in July. However, the Mavericks can pay him more than any other franchise in the league, so it's possible Brunson could sign a deal offered by Dallas. Yet, rumblings have surfaced that general manager Nico Harrison isn't sold on paying the 25-year-old the money he is looking for, making a sign-and-trade to New York a realistic scenario. Nevertheless, if Brunson ends up with the Knicks this season, he has an excellent chance to be the club's top offensive option, a role he isn't likely to hold in Dallas playing alongside Luka Doncic.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
