Jalen Richard Could See Increased Workload
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Jalen Richard didn’t see the field much in Week 1, but should find more opportunities in Sunday’s contest versus the Chiefs. With the Raiders likely playing from behind, the offense will be in pass-mode for most of the game. Richard finished the 2018 campaign tied for the team lead with 68 receptions proving to be a reliable target for Derek Carr out of the backfield. Josh Jacobs will handle the bulk of carries once again but his role in the passing game remains to be seen giving Richard a higher ceiling this week. He makes a risky flex play even in PPR formats but is a cheap dart throw option for DFS.
