Jamal Murray Bounces Back In Huge Way
5 years agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray scored 33 points with five rebounds, two triples, one assist, and a steal in a 113-104 win over the Orlando Magic. Murray needed this game after averaging only 13.3 points per game in December and struggling to find his shot. He had no such trouble against Orlando, scoring 21 of his 33 in the second half to lead a 15-point comeback for Denver. A performance like this, plus the fact that Murray is due for positive regression from beyond the arc, should make fantasy owners excited. Murray, who is shooting a career-low 32.6 percent from three, should be licking his lips ahead of a Friday matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have allowed opponents to shoot 37.6 percent from deep.
