6 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray has recorded just three double-doubles in his career, but he nearly had his first career triple-double Monday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Murray finished with 17 points on an efficient 7-for-14 shooting, but also added eight rebounds and a season-high nine assists. The Nuggets have the offensive weapons for Murray to consistently dish out high assist totals, it just remains to be seen whether he can do so with any level of frequency. He’ll get a matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, whom he is averaging 16.4 points per game against over eight career outings.--Jesse Borek
