Jamal Murray Pours In Game-High 26 Points
6 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray scored a game-high 26 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the floor, 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, and 6-for-6 from the free throw line in Saturday's victory over the Cavaliers. The 21-year-old added five assists and two rebounds along with two turnovers. He has now scored at least 20 points in each of the last four games and five of six. The third-year pro has shot the lights out of the ball over this six-game stretch, knocking down 47 of his 97 (48.4 percent) shot attempts including 20 of 40 from beyond the arc. Murray, who has made 17 of 19 free throws during this span, has also dished out five or more assists three times. The Kentucky product has a good matchup on Wednesday against the Jazz, who he produced 19 points along with five rebounds and four assists against in the teams first meeting.
