James Ennis Remains Sidelined To Begin Season
4 years agoOrlando Magic small forward James Ennis (hamstring) will not make his season debut Thursday versus Philadelphia due to a strained right hamstring. Having been listed as out more than 24 hours prior to tip-off, it doesn't appear as if a return is imminent for Ennis, who figures to factor into the Magic's wing rotation when he is eventually cleared. Despite having started 18 games down the stretch for Orlando in 2019-20, Ennis averaged just 8.5 points and fewer than one made triple per contest, making him a deep league option at best once he has been reacclimated and receives a full minutes allotment. Without him in the mix, Dwayne Bacon has delivered mixed results, making him a rocky DFS or season-long fantasy asset as well.
