5 years agoHouston Rockets point/shooting guard James Harden shot 8-for-27 overall and 3-for-17 from three-point range, yet still managed to finish with 34 points during Saturday’s victory over the Phoenix Suns. Harden’s 15-for-18 performance from the free-throw stripe aided the scoring, as he added six rebounds, four assists and three steals across his 39 minutes. Harden’s offensive onslaught continues to see almost no bounds on a nightly basis as he rewrites many modern record books, even going without a turnover for the first time all season during the win. His next matchup comes Monday versus Sacramento, whom he averaged a gaudy 39 points per game against across four contests last season.--Jesse Borek
