James Harden Continues Worrying Early-Season Trend
3 years agoOn Monday, the Brooklyn Nets downed the Washington Wizards to bounce back from a Sunday defeat, but a disturbing early-season trend continued for James Harden. The Nets point guard provided 14 points, nine assists, six rebounds, a block, and a steal in 30 minutes, but he only got to the foul line three times. It now makes four straight games where the 2018 MVP has taken four free throws or less, and it really looks like the new foul-hunting rules are affecting Harden's overall line. It's only the second time since the 2011 season he's gone that long without five free-throw attempts in a game. Fantasy managers shouldn't hit the panic button yet, but they need to watch whether Harden can figure this out soon.
