James Harden Dominates In Victory Against Sixers
5 years agoHouston Rockets guard James Harden recorded his first triple-double of the season in Friday's 118-108 victory over the 76ers, finishing with 44 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes of action. Harden sealed the game for the Rockets with a pair of late step-back triples, while going 13-for-24 from the field, 6-for-12 from three-point range and 12-for-12 from the free throw line in the contest. Harden's terrific performance marked the seventh consecutive game in which the former MVP has shot better than 50% from the field to dominate the opposition in efficient fashion. Harden has scored 40+ points on 14 different occasions through 34 games, while averaging a career-high in points per game as the midway point of the season approaches. Harden has been the best fantasy option with a first overall ranking in standard 9-cat formats, making the 30-year-old a must-start option across all formats moving forward.
