6 years agoHouston Rockets guard James Harden scored at least 30 points for the fifth consecutive time on Thursday, finishing a 101-99 loss to Miami with 35 points on 7-for-23 shooting. It wasn't a good shooting night, but he was 6-for-14 from deep and 15-for-18 from the charity stripe. Harden also had 12 assists, six rebounds, and two steals, while ending up logging 43 minutes after Chris Paul (hamstring) exited the game. Paul's presence hasn't kept Harden from posting big nights, but he'll now be in an even better spot to perform. The Beard has also stepped it up defensively lately, as he's recorded five consecutive games with multiple steals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
