General manager Sean Marks is hoping a new deal will be complete before the start of the new year, with Kyrie Irving also on the radar to receive one as well. The latest update comes after Kevin Durant recently agreed four-year, $198 million extension nearly a week ago, so it appears as if the franchise is trying to lock up all three superstars for years to come. Nonetheless, the former MVP averaged 24.6 points, 10.9 assists, and 8.5 rebounds throughout 36 games with the team after being traded by the Houston Rockets early during the 2020-2021 season.
