James Harden Likely To Opt In
2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard James Harden is anticipated to exercise his $47.37 million player option for the 2022-23 season. However, according to ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, there's also an expectation the former MVP will then agree to a short-term contract for "as many as two more years." After a subpar tenure in Brooklyn, the 32-year-old was dealt to the Sixers ahead of the trade deadline, where he averaged 21.0 points, 10.5 assists, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while shooting a career-low 32.6% from deep throughout 21 regular-season games. Although Harden isn't as widely regarded by the fantasy community as he was in the past, nobody should dismiss him by any means. Still, managers shouldn't do anything drastic to acquire his services either.
