James Harden's Shooting Woes Continue In Loss
5 years agoHouston Rockets guard James Harden had 36 points, eight assists and five rebounds in a loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. It was Harden's fourth straight game with at least 29 points, and over that stretch he has averaged 41 points per game. His underwhelming shooting percentages to start the season continued, though, as he made only 10 of his 31 shots and was 2-for-16 from behind that arc. That makes Harden 14-for-70 (20%) from downtown through the first five games of this season. Up next for the Beard is a date on Sunday night with the Miami Heat. The Heat are allowing the third-most three-point attempts in the league, but their opponents are converting a league-low 26.0% of them. Harden said he will keep shooting threes because they are good shots, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect an immediate bounce-back game on Sunday night in South Beach.
