4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward James Johnson is expected to exercise his $16 million player option for next season. The 33-year-old forward averaged 12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season. He'll be a nice veteran presence to the organization, but is not expected to have a huge role. Johnson saw a significant amount of playing time because Karl-Anthony Towns was injured. He'll likely be a role player when the team is back to full strength. There won't be much fantasy value for Johnson going forward in Minnesota.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
