James Johnson Fights Through Migraine To Play
6 years agoMiami Heat power forward James Johnson (migraine) was battling a migraine during the day Wednesday, but he was able to start against the Los Angeles Clippers. He finished with three points, two rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot while hitting just one of his five field-goal attempts across 26 minutes. Center Bam Adebayo stepped up to fill the void, hitting 4-for-5 off the bench in 16 minutes, finishing with eight points and seven rebounds. Johnson has a couple of days to relax until the Heat take to the court Friday in Cleveland. He has been rather erratic lately, and he is only worth using in deeper leagues despite his status in the starting five.
