James Johnson Has Best Game Of Season
6 years agoMiami Heat power forward James Johnson scored 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the field and 1-for-4 from beyond the arc in a 121-98 victory over the Clippers on Saturday. The 10th-year pro chipped in eight rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes. He set season highs in points, caroms, field goals, minutes and field goal attempts. It was his second double-figure scoring game in the past three contests. The 31-year-old is averaging 11.5 points along with 4.3 rebounds. 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals in December. While Johnson is not quite at standard fantasy league level yet, he is someone to keep an eye on to see if his minutes remain steady when the Heat gets healthy.
