6 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher James McCann went 3-for-4 on Friday against the White Sox. His season slash line now sits at .249/.303/.358 with four homers, nine doubles, 20 RBI's, and 17 runs scored. As far as catchers go, McCann is right around league-average. His power at the catcher position is a bit of a rarity though, and based off of his career averages and his batted ball profile he should finish somewhere in the 14-18 home run range if he can continue getting the amount of at-bats he's been getting. He's a solid option in AL-only and deeper mixed leagues.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
