4 years agoGolden State Warriors center James Wiseman (wrist) has been further shut down due to persistent wrist pain, per head coach Steve Kerr. There was hope that Wiseman could return as soon as Thursday's game versus Orlando, but that was quickly scratched Wednesday. Now, the Warriors are looking at deploying Draymond Green and Eric Paschall as small-ball centers for at least the next seven days. Golden State is being understandably cautious with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, who they deem to be a significant part of their future. The Warriors are slated for three more games in the next week, which could knock Wiseman to the waiver wire in some single-season season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
