6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward/center JaMychal Green recorded 19 minutes of action during Sunday’s loss to the New York Knicks. He contributed six points, seven rebounds and two blocks, while going 2-for-8 from the field. Green has reasserted himself in his five games back after injury, attempting at least eight shots in each outing, but rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. has a firm hold on the starting power forward spot for now, so temper expectations when it comes to the 28-year-old Green and his role moving forward.--Jesse Borek
