Jaren Jackson Jr. Hits Season-High Five Three-Pointers
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 22 points and secured five rebounds in a blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night. The sophomore forward also shot 50% from the field and drained five of his seven three-point shots on the night. Jackson has been solid in November with shooting splits of 48.9% from the field, 43.2% from three and 84.6% from the free-throw line. He is averaging 26.9 minutes per game, too, and fantasy managers would love to see that creep closer to the 30-minute mark as the season progresses, but Memphis has some quality depth at the forward position. The Grizzlies only have a two-game slate for Week 5 against the Warriors and Lakers. In weekly leagues, he can be benched, as the Lakers are the second-best defense versus power forwards so far this season.
