Jaren Jackson Jr. Narrowly Misses Double-Double Saturday
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. was one of the few bright spots in a beat-down loss to the Toronto Raptors Saturday night. Jackson finished with 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting with nine rebounds in 28 minutes. Jackson did not see a huge boost in production with Marc Gasol (back) out of the lineup, but that could be chalked up to the flow of the game. It remains to be seen if Gasol will miss extended time, but if he does, Jackson would be one of the beneficiaries, especially on the boards. Jackson is averaging just 4.8 rebounds per game this season.
