Jaren Jackson Jr. Scores 19 Points With Four Made Threes
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. helped his team win for the 13th time in their last 16 games in a 121-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. The second-year player had 19 points on 7-for-15 shooting, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 32 minutes. The Grizzlies scratched Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill due to potential involvement in a trade with Andre Iguodala and the Miami Heat. The power forward's averages over the last 10 games have dipped below his season averages, but a big performance on Wednesday will hopefully right the ship. If the Grizzlies trade more of their veterans before Thursday's trade deadline, Jackson should see a slight upgrade in production, maybe as soon as the Grizzlies next game against Philadelphia on Friday.
