Jaren Jackson Jr. Scores 27 Against Kings
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies rookie power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. scored a career-high 27 points in Friday's win over the Kings, going 11-for-16 from the floor. Jackson also added six rebounds, four steals, and a pair of blocks. He's now had two or more steals in three of the last five games, and the rookie seems to be evolving into the player that he was expected to be when Memphis chose him in this year's draft. He should have another shot to put up strong numbers on Sunday against a Minnesota team that ranks in the bottom-10 in the NBA in points and rebounds allowed per game.
