Jarrett Allen Finishes Perfect From Field Amid Double-Double
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen sank all eight field goals that he attempted during Monday’s defeat to the Orlando Magic, collecting back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in over a month. Despite a de facto timeshare at the center slot with DeAndre Jordan (Allen logged 26 minutes, Jordan played 22), Allen was able to compile 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. As he teeters on the precipice of averaging a double-double, Allen’s field-goal percentage -- which is the second-highest in the league -- sits at 64.4 percent heading into Wednesday’s matchup against Washington, who has been dominated by opposing centers this season.
