6 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds during Wednesday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Allen saw plenty of Anthony Davis on Wednesday, but he was able to notch his own double-double, only his second since Dec. 8. Allen saw 31 minutes of action, but whether that was due to the size of Davis, or the absence of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is something that owners will want to keep an eye on. If Allen is to receive 30-plus minutes on a nightly basis, he’s worth a short-term own with his ability to block shots (1.4 per game) in addition to his high field-goal percentage and nightly double-double abilities.--Jesse Borek
