4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen hopped back on the double-double train on Friday after narrowly missing out on one in each of his last two games. Allen scored 13 points with 11 rebounds, five assists, one block, one steal, and a triple in 34 minutes. He's been held below his field-goal percentage average for the season in two of his last three games, though he continues to be a stat-sheet stuffer for the Cavaliers. The JaVale McGee trade and Andre Drummond buyout means that Allen will have virtually no competition for minutes in Cleveland for the rest of the season. Up next is a favorable matchup against Sacramento on Saturday. Allen struggled with his shot against them, though he should fare better this time around, given their track record of struggles against centers this season.--Tim Capurso
