5 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen was a force to be reckoned with on Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. On the way to recording his 14th double-double of the 2019-20 season, Allen also tied his career high with six blocks. His final stat line was 12 points, 14 rebounds, six blocks and one assist. He made six of his seven field-goal attempts but did not attempt a free throw for the third time this year. The Nets have two games remaining in Week 9 against the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks. Both teams rank in the top half of the league defensively versus opposing centers, so Allen could be in for some quieter evenings for the rest of the week.--Euan Leith
