6 years agoJason Day continued his excellent form at Torrey Pines last week, on his way to a T5 finish. Day, who struggled with his approach play in 2018, had new irons in the bag for the event but lost strokes to the field with his iron play over the four days of action. However, Day was superb on the greens at Torrey Pines, gaining over five strokes over the field for strokes gained putting. Day will not be in action this week, having decided against playing the Phoenix Open.--Gianni
