JaVale McGee Comes Up Big In Game One
7 years agoGolden State Warriors center JaVale McGee wasn't even announced as the starting center until Saturday morning, but the big man made an impact on the Game One victory early, taking control in the first quarter as the Warriors cruised to an easy victory. In just 16 minutes, McGee scored 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting, grabbed four rebounds, and blocked a pair of shots. He doesn't have huge DFS upside if he continues to play fewer than 20 minutes as the series continues, but if the Spurs show signs of life and McGee is needed more in late game situations he could provide solid value.
