6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee had arguably the most dominant night of his 11-year NBA career during Friday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets. McGee logged new career highs with 33 points to go along with 20 rebounds, echoing legends of Lakers frontcourt past. McGee’s role with Los Angeles in 2018-19 has been anything but consistent, but at age-31, he now boasts his first career 30-point, 20-rebound performance. It’s tough to argue against making a case to add McGee following his outing, with the Sacramento Kings next on the schedule Sunday.--Jesse Borek
