6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee continued his torrid stretch during Wednesday’s loss to the Utah Jazz, collecting 16 points and 13 rebounds, giving him four straight contests with a double-double to his credit. It wouldn’t be a stretch to call this the best four-game block of McGee’s 11-year career, having averaged 21.5 points, 15.3 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per contest. The Lakers are likely to continue handing McGee a sizable chunk of minutes over their final seven games, next facing off with the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, whom McGee scored 19 points against in just 18 minutes back on Dec. 15.--Jesse Borek
