5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes was pressed into increased duty during Friday’s win over the New York Knicks after Derrick Favors departed early due to injury. Hayes’ 29 minutes of action led to his second consecutive double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to his credit. Factoring in his 7-for-8 shooting performance and two blocked shots, it likely marked Hayes’ best fantasy outing to date in his young career. Should Favors miss any significant time, Hayes would definitely be worth an add in most sized formats; for the time being, he should be draw significant DFS interest Saturday if Favors is held out.--Jesse Borek
