5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes snagged a career-high 12 rebounds off the bench during Wednesday’s win over the Chicago Bulls, adding 14 points to compile the second double-double of his career. In addition to the scoring, Hayes swatted four shots, the third time this year he has collected that many in a single outing. He led the bench in minutes played (24), as he could see an increased role with Kenrich Williams out of the mix. Entering Wednesday, Hayes had scored in single digits in nine straight games, so owners will want to wait for a few more performances mirroring his Bulls production before adding him in any season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
